Jacqueline Marschel Scholarship at South Mountain Community College
The qualifications for this scholarship are as follows: enrolled at South Mountain Community College, minimum 2.0 GPA (High School GPA may apply for incoming Freshman), enrolled in a minimum of three (3) credit hours (1 course) designated as ESL each semester, applicants must be a college freshman or sophomore. Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in the South Mountain Community College English as a Second Language courses and/or out-of-state students. Preference given to students enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours (2 courses) at South Mountain Community College
Prior recipients of the Jacqueline Marschel Scholarship are eligible for continuing scholarship support for up to six (6) semesters provided they maintain at least a ‘C’ average, complete at least six (6) credits per semester, and are otherwise making satisfactory progress toward completion of a degree or certificate. Students previously awarded a scholarship may withdraw from their coursework on time for not more than two semesters and be eligible to reapply for a Jacqueline Marschel Scholarship.
