Jacqueline Marschel Scholarship at South Mountain Community College
The qualifications for this scholarship are as follows: enrolled at South Mountain Community College, minimum 2.0 GPA (High School GPA may apply for incoming Freshman), enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours (2 courses) at South Mountain Community College, enrolled in a minimum of three (3) credit hours (1 course) designated as ESL each semester, applicants must be a college freshman or sophomore. Preference will be given to applicants enrolled in the South Mountain Community College English as a Second Language courses and/or out-of-state students.
Prior recipients of the Jacqueline Marschel Scholarship are eligible for continuing scholarship support for up to six (6) semesters provided they maintain at least a ‘C’ average, complete at least six (6) credits per semester, and are otherwise making satisfactory progress toward completion of a degree or certificate. Students previously awarded a scholarship may withdraw from their coursework on time for not more than two semesters and be eligible to reapply for a Jacqueline Marschel Scholarship.
