Paul and Pauline Butler Nursing Scholarship
Paul Butler spent 21 years each in the Air Force and as a teacher in Glendale. Pauline Butler was a nurse. They loved the adventure of worldwide travel. Both felt that a good education was the best thing they could give to their children. They each were cared for at home at the end of their life by hospice nurses and nursing assistants. The experience created a dedicated sense of support for the hospice concept of end of life care. For that reason, the Paul and Pauline Butler Nursing Scholarship was established as a memorial to Pauline and Paul Butler to support students who have worked in hospice care.
